We are updating the Heritage Schools Award platform and the criteria for achieving the award. This platform will close on 31.08.2025 and the updated platform will launch on 15th September 2025. Submissions made on the updated platform will need to meet the updated criteria.

Heritage Schools Award
Historic England’s Heritage Schools Award recognises and celebrates the great work schools do to ensure young people can learn about and enjoy the heritage of where they live and how it connects to regional, national and global history.
Digital Interactives Project
We want young people to gain valuable digital skills, build confidence around peer-to-peer learning and be inspired by more creative ways for them to demonstrate their own learning.
